Our Sands New York proposal for an integrated resort at the Nassau Hub site took a big step forward this week when we came together with Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman to announce that a 99-year lease agreement between the county government and our company had been reached. We were joined by dozens of business, civic and labor leaders, who are excited and supportive of the proposal.
“Our company’s track-record of developing iconic, economy-changing developments is well-documented and we have every intention of bringing both our proven ability and a sizeable appetite to developing here on Long Island,” Sands Chairman and CEO Rob Goldstein said in a statement.
