Nassau County Holds Public Meeting on Scope of Environmental Impact Analysis

On September 9th, Nassau County held a public hearing to receive comments on the scope of the environmental impact analysis for the proposed Sands New York project.  Over 100 people turned out to support the project and urge the legislature to move the process forward. The proposed scope is a comprehensive and robust environmental review which, amongst other elements, will include air quality, soil, noise, water, light, parking, and a traffic analysis of over 100 intersections.  For more information on the scope itself, check out this article.
